Quake shareware is broken up into seperate files so the will fit on 1.44mb disks for backup purposes. Or you could just take it over to a friends house if they don't have internet(so you can kick their ass in deathmatch).

Download QUAKE directly from the idsoftware FTP site:

System requirements

  1. Personal Computer with a Pentium Processor.
  2. of RAM to play in DOS, to run in a Win95 DOS Box.
  3. A Sound Blaster or 100% compatible sound card is highly recommended.

To see quake run in all its high resolution splendor, you'll need to download the SciTech Display Doctor (formerly known as UNIVBE).
